Fabulous accommodation in wonderful Golden Bay

"We stayed in the Kereru chalet for five nights and what a wonderful place it is. The experience started with the warmest of welcomes from the lovely lady who manages the site; she couldn't have been more helpful to us during our stay. The chalet itself is so comfortable with everything you need and is serviced daily. The outside space is private and relaxing and, of course, there's so much to see and do around wonderful Golden Bay. What a gem this place is! "

"The Rocks rock, thank you Leanne to you and your family, you had our rooms heated for us as we arrived late. Thank you to your husband for transporting us up to the Takaka Hill so we could mtb the Rameka at short notice and your wonderful son, being so helpful. Your Chalets and service are wonderful, we truly had a lovely stay with us. Thank you all, your place is stunning!"

Very spacious

"Very spacious room. Nicely landscaped garden. Clean tidy and comfortable. Walking distance to town. I will be staying here again. Added bonus of bbq to use at your leisure. Also have a glow worm cave you can take stroll down a track to see. "

"Magical location just outside Takaka and within walking distance to shops and restaurants. Quite, tranquil and luxurious cabin opening onto a secluded courtyard and garden bounded by karst rocks and an outdoor bath. The glow worm cave located at the property was an unexpected delight!"

One of the best places to stay in Golden Bay!

"We LOVED staying at The Rocks Chalets! It was so much more beautiful than we expected. The pictures look nice but can't capture the full beauty and essence of the place. The staff were amazing, the location was perfect, the landscape was epic, the rooms were utterly perfect with great amenities and super comfortable! We will 100% be back! It is now one of our top accommodation places in NZ. 10/10."

The perfect place for a relaxing few days

"The property was located outside but a short walk from the town. Each chalet is private and has its own little outdoor area (ours looked on to a small pond). The interior is really nicely done, very cosy and warm. The bed was really comfortable and kitchen and cooking facilities were great."
